South Korea used to be ruled by a dynastic for many centuries. It used to be controlled by Japanese in 1910. The weather in South Korea is very hot during the summer. The temperature in the summer season can reach up to 45 ºC. At night, the temperature will drop to very low. In November, the temperature will change to below zero. The Siberian winds will make the temperature even colder. If you plan to visit South Korea, you should buy a lot of clothes. Wearing several layers of clothes will keep you warm during the season. The weather in the northern part of Korea is different compare to Busan.
The best time to visit South Korea is during Spring and Autumn season. This is because the weather in the Spring season is mild and dry. You can expect a lot of rainfalls in between July and August. The coldest season occur from December to February. Sometimes, there will be typhoons. It is important that you wear lightweight clothing in the summer. You can wear medium or heavy weight clothes if you are visiting in the winter season.
While in South Korea, you can visit the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Cheonggeyecheon Stream is a project that has cost the residents a lot of taxes. It used to be sewage but it is now converted into a walking area. If you visit the Cheonggyecheon Stream, you can watch all kinds of sculptures and performances. Korean Folk Village is located about 45 minutes from Seoul. At the Korean Folk Village, you get to watch a variety of arts and crafts by Korean artists. You can learn how buildings were built in Korea many hundred years ago in South Korea.
South Korea has a national park called Seoraksan National Park. Seoraksan National Park is home to the SEorak mountain range. The national park has many rock pinnacles, forests, rivers and waterfalls. If you enjoy skiing, you can visit the Alps Ski Resort. Alps Ski Resorts consist of 13 ski resorts. You can reach the Alps Ski Resort by taking a public transportation from Seoul. Odaesan National Park is often visited by tourists who enjoy skiing because it has a famous ski resort.
Another national park in South Korea is the Hallyeo Maritime National Park Hallyeo Maritime National Park is located in the southeastern part of Korea. It has more than 400 islands. It is the site where Admiral Yi Sun Sin successfully overcomes the Japanese soldiers in the battle during the 1500s.
Tourists can gain access to the three national parks from the East Coast highway. The northernmost national park, which is the Seoraksan National Park, has the most beautiful landscape. You can take the Busan high speed train to explore the tourism attraction places such as Jagalchi Fish Market and Busan Tower.
