Maryland was originally discovered by Lord Baltimore in the year of 1634. The United States Naval Academy is located in Maryland. There are plenty of places you can visit in Maryland. The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historic Park has an extensive network of hiking trail for hikers. Cyclists can follow the bicycle train the park and cycle around. The park stretches about 295 km.

You can visit Gambrills State park to get an overview of the Catoctin peaks. If you like to explore marine lives, you can visit the National Aquarium in Maryland.
