There are many spectacular scenery in the environment surrounding Berner Oberland. Some of the famous peaks at Berner Oberland include Jungfrau and Mnch. Besides, Berner Oberland has the highest railway.

Tourists who love to explore castles can visit the Chillon Castle. Chillon Castle is located on the east side of Lake Geneva. There are lots of mountains in the background in Chillon Castle. Chillon Castle was built on the thirteen century foundations. Bonivard, a famous prisoner was locked up at the Chillion Castle prison in 1530 – 1536 A.D. Tourists can tour around the famous prison in the castle. You can also tour other places in the prison including Grand Hall, Hall of Justice and etc. Switzerland has an extensive cycling trail. The cycling trail has a length of 3,300 km. You can hire bicycles at the railway stations. You can explore the city of Geneva on foot. At Geneva there are many tourist destinations such as Cathedrale de St. Pierre. The flower clock in Hardin Anglais has more than six thousand five hundred blooms.
