From Sark, you can take a plane to Alderney. If you want to go to Guernsey, you have to take a ferry. Sark ranks as the third largest islands in the Chanel Islands. The island becomes somewhat island after the Second World War. You will notice that there are many forts in Sark. Sark is consists of two islands including Great Sark and Little. An isthmus connects the Great Sark and Little Sark. The isthus is about 5.6 km in length and 2.4 km in width. Children can come to the coastline of Sark and explore the caves. Boats can be hired to explore the surrounding places.
Gurnsey is ranked as the second largest island in the Channel islands. It is family friendly place for vacation. There are many botanical gardens at Guernsey. It is located about 45 km from France. Many tourists around the world have been to this isle. While at Guernsey, you can visit the beach and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You can go to the golf course and watch people playing the golf. Most of the streets on the island have French names. You will get to experience the English and French atmosphere at the Chanel Island. It is quite near to the Britain mainland. You can go onboard a boat to travel to the Britain mainland.
There are no much to see and do in Chanel Island of Guernsey. There are three airports that provide services to Guernsey. The first airport is Guernsey airport, which is located about 6 km from St. Peter Port. You can take bus or taxi to reach the Guernsey airport. The second airport is the St. Peters airport. St. Peters airport is located about 8 km from St. Helier. Another airport is the Alderney Airport. Alderney Airport is situated in proximity to St. Anne. From St. Anne, you can get a taxi and go to Alderney Airport.
